Ms. Lopez's Fifth Grade Class

Hello and welcome parents and students. My name is Loxa Lopez. I am very pleased to say that I am very excited to teach my first year as a fifth grade teacher at Springfield Elementary School. I recently received my bachelor’s degree in elementary education from St. Petersburg College. 

Outside of academics, I enjoy being outdoors. This includes jogging, gardening, skateboarding, and swimming. I have a white, poufy puppy named ‘Nube,’ which means ‘cloud’ in Spanish. I love to eat Greek, Hawaiian, and Japanese food. My favorite place to vacation is the River Walk located in San Antonio, Texas. The River Walk is a walkway on the San Antonio River that takes you to restaurants, shops, museums, and many other interesting attractions.
